James Jedlic - Founder
I am a rising sophomore at Sugar Bowl Academy and a second year U16 in the Far West Division. I was born overseas in the UAE and first started skiing at Ski Dubai when I was two. My family and I moved back to San Francisco when I was five, and I joined the team at Alpine Meadows, where we skied on weekends. During the summer of 2021, our family moved to Truckee so my brother and I could attend Sugar Bowl Academy on Donner Summit and ski full-time during the winter. Although my 23/24 season was plagued by injuries which limited my time on snow, I was competitive during the 22/23 season as a second year U14, finishing 1st and 4th in slalom races and 4th in a giant slalom race (and ranking 5th overall in U14 Far West that season). I have been tuning my skis since I was 12 years old and I have also tuned skis for teammates and friends. I am proud of my tuning abilities and enjoy the flow state that encompasses me as I work at my tuning bench.
